Join the community wide scavenger hunt that helps you discover some fun and interesting art throughout the county. You’ll be introduced to a variety of pieces that you can see in person and take a selfie with. Share your photos to earn points and maybe even win a prize! Visit the Public Arts Midland Facebook page to post photos and get more details.
Visit the Midland Center for the Arts on Wednesday, Oct. 23 to check out the performance by Alex Cuba, a Cuban-Canadian singer-songwriter. Alex, a Grammy award winning musician performs his sweet soul music in both English and Spanish. His show is one you won’t want to miss!
And lastly, join your friends and neighbors at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library on Oct. 24 to celebrate and view the art that was accepted into the Global Diversity Creativity Contest sponsored by Midland Area Cultural Awareness Coalition and Public Arts Midland. The Mezzanine level at the library will be hosting an artist reception from 6 to 8 p.m. View the art and meet the artists!
