It’s a nightmare scenario when a young child or an elderly parent wanders away from home and can’t be found. That’s when Midland County Search and Rescue, a team of trained volunteers, is called in to begin the search.

Home building and remodeling are the main attractions at Dow Diamond in Midland this weekend. The Home Builders Association of Midland County will present the Home & Outdoor Living Expo.

Local high school students competed for the A.H. Nickless Innovation Award on Saturday, April 23. Between the top three winning teams, $64,000 were granted in individual scholarships and STEM grants for their respective schools.
