Popup Palooza returns to Village of Sanford for 2nd year

After the well-loved event, Parkapalooza moved to Midland, Village of Sanford residents hosted their own mini version of the hometown music festival, Popup Palooza last year. This year, the event returns on July 23 at Porte Park.

Explore the new nature area in Midland

In mid-July, City of Midland and Dow officials celebrated the grand opening of the Eagle Ridge Nature Area in Stratford Woods Park.  The project was developed by Dow as a component of its natural resources damage restoration efforts and will be transferred to the City of Midland for future oversight and preservation.

The 36th annual Walleye Festival returns to Freeland from April 28 through May 1. This year’s festivities include fishing, a beer tent, live music, carnival, car show, corn hole, disc golf, duck races, fireworks, kids trout pond, parade, and yard sales.
