Dahlia Hill will mark the change of seasons with its annual Autumn Equinox Celebration this Sunday.

The free community event runs from 2 to 4 p.m. at the terraced garden at 2809 Orchard Drive, where more than 3,000 dahlias are in bloom across 300 varieties. Visitors will also find sculptures by Dahlia Hill founder and artist Charles Breed throughout the grounds.

The afternoon features live acoustic music from Frank n Jude, free treats, and a fundraiser raffle with prizes donated by local businesses. Guests can also learn about the Dahlia Hill Society, the nonprofit that maintains the garden through volunteer support.

September is peak viewing season for dahlias, making the equinox celebration one of the most colorful times to visit. Admission is free and open to the public.
