An old motel near Downtown Bay City is getting new life as studio apartments

LRC Commercial Real Estate bought a two-story motel in Downtown Bay City in 2023. The company is turning the space into studio apartments for college students or young professionals.  

Regional Housing Partnerships addressing need for affordable housing

As part of the Region I Regional Housing Partnership, the Capital Area Housing Partnership and the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission are tasked with developing local action plans to address the housing crisis. City and state government, neighborhood developers including Forsberg Real Estate, and area nonprofits are working together to address homelessness in greater Lansing and to attract residents to Eaton Rapids.

Enjoy a Sunday brunch at the H Hotel courtyard

The H Hotel in downtown Midland launched a new brunch menu in its outdoor courtyard. Every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., diners can enjoy breads, pastries, fruit, coffee, juice, tea, brunch entrees, and build-your-own mimosa and bloody mary bars.
