Isabella Bank opens its first branch in Downtown Bay City

Isabella Bank recently opened an office in Downtown Bay City.

Late last month, the full-service bank celebrated the opening of its first office in Bay County, a Wealth and Loan Office at 723 S. Washington Ave. The office provides lending and wealth services such as estate and investment planning.

“The new location in Bay City is an exciting step for us,” says Michael Colby, East Region President for Isabella Bank.

“We have current and future customers who have been wanting us to expand our presence. Isabella Bank is a strong, stable and growing community bank with a 120-year history. The South Washington location is a Wealth and Loan office where customers can receive personalized support for their loan and personal wealth needs.”
 

Jenn Brick, Vice President and Director of Customer Service Operations, says the bank also opened an office in Saginaw County recently.

“We have strategically been moving in the Great Lakes Bay Region and Bay County was the last piece of that,” Brick says. “We are looking at how do we fully serve the Great Lakes Bay Region.”

For now, the Bay City office is open by appointment only. Staff members working from that office often travel to their customers. That could change, Brick says.

In the meantime, the bank and its employees are excited to locate in Bay County.

“Community banking and community involvement are part of our core values, so wherever we are, we make sure we are ingrained in that community,” Brick says. “We’re definitely hitting the ground running and letting people know we’re there.”

Isabella Bank has 31 locations throughout eight Great Lakes Bay Region counties including Bay, Saginaw, Midland, Clare, Gratiot, Isabella, Mecosta, and Montcalm.
