The 7:30 p.m. event is free and open to the community, not just Delta College students or employees. It takes place inside the Delta College Pioneer Gym.

Why it matters:

Guzmán is a Mexican immigrant, Latina, and dual US/Mexico citizen. She travels the country talking about how curiosity drives us to ask important questions and build bridges with each other.

From Guzmán’s website:

“Ready to fight back against the confusion, heartbreak, and madness of our dangerously divided times? Find the answers you need by talking with people—rather than about them—and asking the questions you want, curiously. Seeing where people are coming from isn’t just possible. It’s easier than you think.”
