The agency, based at 1801 Jarman Road in Essexville, provides vocational training and employment services for people in Bay and Arenac counties. An all-volunteer board oversees the non-profit organization.

As a fundraiser, New Dimensions is hosting an inclusive talent show on Sat., April 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the State Theater, 913 Washington Ave. in Downtown Bay City.

The goal is for the talent show to become an annual event.

Auditions will be held Wed., March 26 and Fri., March 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. In order to audition, you must apply by Mon., March 10.

Anyone who is at least 14 years old is invited to audition. The talent show is open to singers, rappers, instrumentalists, comedians, and more. The finalists will perform for a live audience during a fundraising event on April 26.

During the live performance at the State Theater, audience members will vote for their favorite contestants. The event also includes live judging, a 50/50 raffle, and the opportunity for contestants to win prizes.

New Dimensions Inc. is a non-profit that helps and supports people with disabilities and mental illness to become integrated in the community, follow their passions and secure meaningful employment. The agency also provides job coaching and training to clients.

Funds raised at the Talent Show will help New Dimensions clients gain access and entry into local community events and participate in activities they could otherwise not afford.

In addition to performers, New Dimensions is seeking a panel of three to five judges, an emcee to host the event, sponsors, and vendors.
