Mental Health First Aid turns adults into allies for teens facing tough times

About 40 people participated in the first Mental Health First Aid training in March. Organizers are looking for funding to offer additional trainings, both for adults and teens.

Research scientist devotes career to silicon carbide industry and creating sustainable energy

Edward Sanchez has spent more than a quarter-century in the research and development of silicon carbide wafers used to power electric vehicles and other technology. He now serves as Vice President of Operations and Technology at Bay County’s SK Siltron CSS, a silicon carbide wafer manufacturer.
