Great Lakes Bay Health Centers recently announced plans for a new one-stop facility in Uptown Bay City.

Great Lakes Bay Health Centers gearing up to open a health care clinic inside Central High School

The school-based clinic will be open to students in the district between 5 and 21 years old. Students will need parent permission to visit the clinic, which will offer primary care alongside mental health, vision, and dental services.

New Michigan Sugar CEO sees a bright future for his family and his company in the region

Neil C. Juhnke started his Michigan Sugar career in April. Since then, he’s met grower-owners, employees, and started enjoying Michigan’s recreational opportunities including fishing, hunting, and golfing.  

The project includes a 1,200-square-foot year-round pavilion with 750 square feet of indoor/outdoor seating. Large glass garage doors will open when it’s warm and close when it’s cold.

Bay City Central High School is picking up the tab for Associate’s Degrees or apprenticeships

This fall, Bay City Central debuts an Early Middle College program. Over five years, students will have the chance to earn high school diplomas, Associate’s Degrees, or complete apprenticeships in the skilled trades. The district foots the bill for everything from tuition and books to transportation and food.
