She received her degrees in journalism and professional communications and provides coverage for various publications locally, regionally, and nationally — writing stories on small businesses, arts and culture, dining, community, and anything Michigan-made. Mama’s, a new grocery store, opened up in Coleman earlier this month. The store sells meats and produce including chicken, burgers, steaks, milk, bananas, and more. The owners hope this is the start of a revitalization of the Coleman community.
